My journey with yoga started many years ago when I began my career as a massage therapist . I was looking for a way to keep my body fit in order to keep up with the physical demands that come along with being a massage therapist. What started as a once a week practice slowly grew into a daily practice . Not only had I gained strength and flexibility , but there were other side effects that came along with yoga that could not be denied . The calm meditative state I would leave class with is what led me to pursue yoga on a deeper level. I received my 200 hour teacher certification from Jennifer Williams at Joy Wellness Healing Arts Center. Jennifer taught me to teach from the heart. Teaching from the heart is what I strive to do in every class at the Yoga Spa.
